New York City streets, Central Park, Times Square, Soho, Brooklyn and other famous Manhattan landmarks.

When

Time:
Ideally, later in the afternoon (close to sunset)... Otherwise, earlier in the morning.

Season:
All seasons... Pretty much all of my seniors are visiting from out of town, so we'll work during your visit. Proofing is done online.

Fun and Creative Senior Portraits in NYC

Choose to do your session in New York City's iconic Central Park, Times Square, Soho, Brooklyn and other famous Manhattan landmarks.

These portrait sessions take place around NYC city streets and parks and last around 2 hours. We'll take our time and walk around neighborhoods and parks that we'll decide on in advance. The sessions are very laid back, fun and all about capturing fun and cool portraits of you that clearly say NYC.

These sessions are super fun and laid back. Two hours is a good amount of time; we can really take our time and get a nice variety of shots.

What to wear for your senior portrait session

A change of outfit is welcome. When going for two (or more outfits) it’s recommended they are different styles, ie: one “clean/chic” and one “fun” outfit.

Popular NYC locations for seniors

Why do your senior photos in Manhattan? Manhattan has tons of great locations for senior portraits. From beautiful parks to grungy, hip and urban backdrops, these various backdrops are often located just blocks away from each other. I'll  be happy to hear what you have in mind, or let me make suggestions and guide you if this is your first time in NYC.

We were very pleased with the results

We asked Roy if he would be interested in taking our daughter’s senior pictures after seeing some of his work and we couldn’t be any happier that he said yes.
When we first met up with Roy my daughter was a bit nervous which I am sure he deals with a lot but I was amazed at how fast Roy was able to get her into taking the pictures and relax. He was very professional but at the same time very chill. My daughter soon became very excited and engrossed in the whole event.

Roy took us all over lower Manhattan and time was never an issue. He took a lot of pictures and he made sure to find the certain things we were looking for at the time. When he finished taking the pictures we knew we would want to use Roy again. Within a week or two he contacted us to let us know our pictures were up in a gallery and ready to be reviewed. We were very pleased with the results and are now making our order.

If you are looking for a great photographer that is very easy to work with and is not going to rush you then go with Roy. We are glad we did!
