Currently not booking Newborn Sessions After more than 15 years and 1000 newborns, I am taking a break from newborn photography. I'd love to work with you and your family once your baby is a bit older, 6 months and up is a great time for an outdoor shoot.

Wonderful Job

Roy did a wonderful job with newborn photos for our son. Came to our apartment with all needed equipment. Was patient through many feeds and diaper changes as we tried to keep the baby happy for pictures.

Very personable. Great with the baby and captured some beautiful shots. We will cherish the photos forever!

Absolutely amazing!

Roy was absolutely amazing! He was beyond accommodating to our needs which was nice with a newborn! The way he works with babies is something to be seen. I ask if I could hire him to nanny too! We are already looking forward to our next session!

Love every single picture

Roy recently shot newborn photos of our son, Brody, and they are absolutely gorgeous! I just love every single picture. Roy was super patient and kind about everything - he was so amazing with the baby. It was just incredible. I highly recommend booking him for newborn photos!

Baby Whisperer

Roy did an AMAZING job shooting flawless photos of our perfect (albeit sleepy, cranky and whiney) newborn baby girl. We were convinced after a sleepless night that he'd hardly get one shot in. Well he's the baby whisperer!!

He got the most beautiful shots of our daughter and effectively cooed her into a sweet sleep lull. Her photos are so beautiful and created memories we will cherish forever.

Took His Time

I have never left a review before but Roy was worth reviewing. We used him for newborn pictures based on the reviews we read and he was exactly as the reviews had depicted him.

The way he handled my son was absolutely amazing... I could use him at 3 am! He was just as good working with my two year old son who acted like a typical 2yo that day (into everything with a few tantrums).

He did Not fixate on time or length of the shoot but instead, Roy really took his time to get and create all the images he wanted.

The photographs came out amazing and will be treasured for a lifetime. We highly recommend Roy. You will not be disappointed.

extremely professional and cordial

I and my husband had a wonderful experience with Photography by Roy for our Newborn photo session. From the beginning, Roy was extremely professional and cordial. The day of the session he brought all his equipment to our small Manhatten apartment and set up was quick and timely.

All his props and outfits were adorable! He was really good with our 2.5 week old son too. The photos turned out amazing!
