Online photography, online photographs for sale.Ever since 1999 i haven active in the photographic world, from retouching photographs in photoshop (professionally) to working in a lab, developing pictures. from the moment i picked up a camera i fell in love with the process. inspired by the greats like ansel Adams, Galen Rowell , Peter Dombrovskis etc... my direction seemed to naturally be landscape photography. Combining two of my passions ( the outdoors) and the camera.since then i have traveled to many national parks, and try to visit as many states as i can for my photographes, i have been to the great smoky mountains in tennessee, the catskills (which is practically in my own back yard compared to any national park or state park), Denali national park in alaska ( see photographs at my online store/gallery... the photograph of the Dall sheep, and the one off the denali highway). i've recently also been to Arizona, which is great if you want to photograph landscapes, the grand canyon is great on color slides, as well as sedona Arizona. from there went on to Utah where i got to capture the beauty of Zion and Bryce Canyon. I've also been to Olympic national park in Washington which is simply amazing, the photograph for sale in the store is from ShiShnology in canvas Giclée photography provides outstanding detail and vibrant colors. Image resolution (DPI or Dots Per Inch) is higher than in traditional lithography. My Giclées are printed using high-resolution ink jet printers, which result in sharp contrast with rich, brilliant colors and amazing tonality.These Giclée photography images are printed on archival canvas using archival inks. Predicted life span estimates are expected to be more than 99 years under normal home and office conditions. However, Giclée prints should not be exposed to water or direct sunlight, which could cause damage. I use Epson Ultrachrome inks, exclusively, because of their archival quality and true colors. All of this guarantees you a long-lasting museum quality work of art.Giclée ("jee-clay") is a French word which roughly translates as "to spray". The Giclée printing process involves spraying microscopic dots of ink onto fine quality paper or canvas, in this case with a high-quality ink jet printer. The result is a fine art print that is often indistinguishable from those created with traditional photographic methods.Most of my Giclées originate from beautiful 6x9cm trasparancies which are scanned and edited with the highest standards & attention to detail and quailty.Artist statment:Photography for me is more then just an expensive hobby. it's my passion. I try to combine the beauty and quality of negative/transparency film with modern day digital editing tools to get unique images which stand out, and now i can offer this original photographs for sale at my online gallery..I do not specialize in any type of photography, I love to shoot everything I can, from grand American landscapes to studio macro, who says we have to limit ourselves anyway...?
