Portrait photography of Newborns, Children, Families and more.
A little about me…
It's been about 8 years since I started Photography by Roy and my love for photography hasn't diminished one bit. (600 newborns and counting!)
My photographic journey started a few years before digital began to transform the industry. Using film was a great way to learn my craft and for personal projects I sometimes still shoot medium format film.
Since 1999 I've been involved in the photographic industry in one way or another. From working in a lab professionally retouching images, to maintaining an e-commerce site selling photographic gear to working at weddings and events. Each of these jobs has helped me develop skills that I now use on a daily basis.
I consider myself very fortunate to be able to photograph for a living.
I love capturing sincere moment, and the best way to achieve that is by making sure my clients are comfortable and having genuine fun during our session.
Sessions are always relaxed to capture real and natural moments.
Photojournalism is my favorite style of shooting. Taking a step back and letting you be yourself is most important.
Work Ethics & Personality
Easy going yet always after the perfect shot; and always excited to do what I do.
I usually book one client per day, and always make sure there is no need to rush during a session.
Ask any of my clients and they'll probably tell you my patience and professionalism are what stand out the most.
Under-Promise and Over-Deliver
I work hard for each and every one of my clients and I like to think it shows in the results... I try to always go above and beyond what is expected.
Creative and fun Pet Photography in the comfort of your own home. A complete studio set up and/or natural portraits of your pet at home.
Pet Studio locations
We come to you! From the Hamptons on Long Island, To NYC, Westchester and CT. We travel to your house/apartment and set up the studio there!
All the images you see on the Pet Photography Portfolio were done either at the clients home or outdoors at a local beach/park.
Home vs. Park Pet Portraits
Both of these options have their pluses, but doing the session at home means your pet is more likely to be comfortable, and we can try for both studio and natural-lifestyle portraits of your pet. Plus we can always work outside for a bit .
